William Lukas, Program Assistant – United States
William is the Program Assistant for WITNESS’ regional team based in the United States.
Prior to joining WITNESS, William served as Director of communications for a pro bono abolitionist law firm. He has also worked with public schools, neighborhood centers, and re-entry programs as a teaching artist, case worker, and project manager. William regularly collaborates on community care projects that support survivors of state violence and center queer and trans futurity. He is also a visual artist and writer and he exhibits work nationally and publishes through indie literary presses.
William holds a B.A. in Sociology.
